Colonel By Island, ON Day 4

Miles Traveled 0
Total Miles Traveled 5101
Day 303

We were fortunate not to get any severe weather, but we did have periods of rain today.

This is a good location to be protected from the wind, and a secure dock to tie to.  Most of our day was spent planning our route to Kingston, and then to Trenton where we will enter the Trent Severn Waterway.  The Trent Severn Waterway is about 240 miles long and runs roughly west from Trenton on Lake Ontario to Port Severn on the Georgian Bay.  The Georgian Bay runs northeast and is approximately 169 miles long.  There are some very interesting lock/lifts on the Trent Severn that we are excited to experience and share on the blog.
