This has been beautiful place to stop and enjoy Big
Rideau Lake. We went fishing this
morning and caught several fish; we have the “conservative license” which means
we can only keep 2 fish per license a day.
We kept 4 nice ones and had them for dinner this evening.
We also took a dinghy ride to explore the area, the lake
is dotted with little islands, some of them have cabins and this one is for
sale.
Since there are severe thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow evening through Saturday, we will probably stay here at the park dock and wait for fair weather…………and catch more fish! What a great day on the Great Loop!
