We left Campbellford in time for the first lock opening
with loopers “LeryLynn” and “2 Infinity”; another boat was waiting at the lock when
we arrived. “LeryLynn” was having
mechanical problems and decided to return to Cambellford for repairs before continuing
on.
Following “2 Infinity” into Lock #15.
Most of the waterway has a 6 mile and hour speed limit,
this dock owner had an interesting way of slowing boaters down.
The Trent-Severn waterway on the way to Hastings, ON.
“2 Infinity” continued on past Hastings as thunderstorms are predicted for tomorrow. We decided to stay here and see what the updated forecast is in the morning before moving on.
