While getting ready to leave this morning, I took a
picture of a ship coming into the Cape Fear River.
When I zoomed in I noticed the yachts it was
transporting.
Cape Fear is a major shipping channel; we left early this
morning to take advantage of calm winds and slow currents. We didn’t expect to have to dodge trees.
Is this a bug house?
Entering Wrightsville, NC, we had to wait 20 minutes on
the bridge opening during a tidal current.
We passed this Great Harbor 47 twice, and then anchored
in the same place this evening.
