Charleston, SC to Georgetown, SC

Miles Traveled 52.5
Total Miles Traveled 3480
Day 237

As soon as we left the marina this morning we had a little ship traffic to deal with in Charleston Harbor.

We passed several nice homes when leaving the Charleston area; these homes have a golf course between them and the waterway.

We are still seeing dolphins, but it’s not been easy to get pictures.

Running the traps.

About 25 miles into today’s cruise we were at low tide in a very shallow section of the ICW.  We noticed a boat ahead of us that appeared to be stopped and called them on the radio.  They were hard aground waiting for a tow and had veered off center channel to avoid a crab pot.  We passed them very slowly and was showing 1.9 ft under our boat in the middle of the channel.

Another day of miles and miles of salt marsh, it looked like somebody likes it though, they built a house in the middle of nowhere.

All in all, another great day on the Great Loop anchored in Minim Creek near Georgetown, SC.
