The forecast was for more strong winds this afternoon, so
the plan was to leave at 7 a.m. this morning to get to our planned
anchorage. We were blocked in from all
of the boats that came into the marina yesterday for safe harbor during bad
weather and by the time everyone cleared out, it was too late to leave. We decided to stay one more day at Killarney
and leave tomorrow morning with a more favorable weather forecast.
More loopers arrived today, some new that we haven’t met
yet, and a few that we keep crossing paths with during our adventure. We had “Docktails” this evening with “Miss My
Money”, “Gracie”, “2 Infinity”, “Chasing 80”, “Lazy W”, “Knot Sew Easy”, “Pearl
Two”, and “Moonshine”. We also celebrated Hamp’s birthday (“Gracie”)
with ice cream and rhubarb strawberry pie.
