We had a short cruise to Kingfisher Bay Marina, located
near Demopolis, AL this morning. We had
a total of 6 boats at our anchorage last night at Rattlesnake Bend and awoke to cloudy skies. Periods of heavy rain was predicted for this afternoon, tonight, and
tomorrow so we are staying at the marina for a couple of days. I
kept an eye out for those rattlesnakes but we didn't see any, did you know that
rattlesnakes can live to be 30 years old?
While checking in, the harbormaster told us that the
marina was having their annual Halloween Party on the dock at 5 and everyone is
welcome.
