Heavy rain last night and light rain today is good reason to stay at the marina to catch up on routine maintenance and cleaning. Boaters coming into the marina today are reporting a lot of debris floating down the river. There are 10-12 loopers leaving tomorrow morning, we will make a decision whether to leave Tuesday morning, tomorrow afternoon.
We are 217 miles from Mobile Bay with only one very small
marina and few anchorages in between. We
may lay back and let the crowd thin out, and the weather improve, before moving on.
