North Miami Beach, Fl to Lighthouse Point, Fl

Miles Traveled 27.0
Total Miles Traveled 2384
Day 176-177

What a variety of scenery today, we left our anchorage this morning and entered the AICW with multi-story condo’s on both sides of the waterway.

As we traveled north, there were condo’s on one side and houses on the other.

A few miles later, we entered a shipping terminal area.

Then a cruise ship terminal.  If you look close you can see a big movie screen on the top deck.

I zoomed in to get a closer look.  We thought about anchoring and watching the movie, but couldn’t get a Bluetooth signal.

As we entered the Fort Lauderdale area, saw several mega-yachts.

I had to bring a roll of paper towels to the flybridge to clean up the drool on the upper helm.

After the mega-yacht marina’s, we passed some really nice homes.

Then we passed some very nice homes with mega-yachts.

We were lucky on the bridges, there were only 2 or 3 of 12 that had to open for us and our longest wait was 15 min.  Our longest delay today was the slow Manatee areas.  You can’t imagine everyone’s different interpretation of a 15 inch wake.
