Miami, Florida to North Miami Beach, Fl

Miles Traveled 16.2
Total Miles Traveled 2357
Day 175

This is our view as we continued our adventure through Miami this morning, the scenery has changed considerably since we left Stock Island.

Between the bridges and the Manatee Zones we moved pretty slow today.  We could have chosen the outside route in the Atlantic Ocean, but didn’t want to bypass the city view.

We are still traveling with Gene on “Galene”, he had made a reservation at Cocoa, Fl the week before us, so we’ll be traveling together for a few weeks.

This is the access canal to Maule Lake for today’s anchorage.

The Oleta River connects to Maule Lake so we took the dinghy about 2 miles on the river to a restaurant called Duffy’s.  We saw a stingray jump out of the water twice but couldn’t get a picture, that was a first for us.

On the way back I took a picture of “Moni” “Gene”.

When we arrived back at the boat, I took a picture of “Moni Jean” and “Galene” anchored in Maule Lake.

That looks like the best way to see Miami from what I remember about driving around that place! Can't wait until you get to St. Augustine, love it there! Have fun!

Same with us and what a great view on the hook at night, wish the picture quality at night would have been better.
