Day 179
We have reunited with our buddy boat “Galene”, continuing
our Loop adventure north. Today was a
windy day, but much less boat traffic than yesterday. Although we had to cross several bridges, we
only had to have 3 open for us with little delay.
We also saw less congestion of homes and condo’s
too. Some of the homes had huge
waterfront property with them.
We passed several areas of modular homes with canals and
boat slips at each property.
This was an awesome boat; we wish we could have stayed at
this marina to get a closer look.
We passed Lake Worth on the way to our anchorage at North Palm Beach
After we anchored, two other looper boats came into our anchorage, one of them was "Knot Sew Easy" we anchored in Roberts Bayou near Orange Beach with them back in November and haven't seen them since. The other boat is "California Lady", we last saw them in Marathon, I think a few loopers are starting to migrate north.
