Today we chose a fork in the waterway for a side trip to
Fort Myers, Fl. The fork in the
waterway gives us two options, to continue on a southerly route ending up in
the Florida Keys, or turn east and take the Okeechobee Waterway across Florida
to the East coast of Florida. We will
spend a couple of days here at Fort Meyers then return to the southerly route
to the Keys.
We passed Cabbage Key Restaurant and Marina this morning, an Inn and
cottages are also available for rent.
This is a great place to visit if you’re in the area.
